 Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Theatre Nurse to join our surgical team. As a Theatre Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are sterile and readily available.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipating their needs and providing support as necessary.
• Monitor patients throughout surgery, assessing vital signs and responding promptly to any changes or complications.
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all surgical procedures and patient care activities.
• Educate patients and their families on preoperative and postoperative care instructions, including potential risks and complications.

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license and registration.
• Proven experience working in a surgical setting, preferably in a theatre environment.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and practices.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
